Multifunctional RNA Nanoparticles with Immunomodulatory Properties

RNA nanotechnology is a burgeoning field which takes advantage of the naturally occurring biopolymers DNA and RNA to fold into assemblies of discrete shapes and sizes. My research focuses on the design, characterization, and many uses of DNA and RNA nanostructures in personalized medicine, materials, and biosensors. One of my main focuses is on how we can design these unique structures to either activate or evade the immune system for better use as therapeutics.
