Bioconjugation Reagents

Bioconjugate technologies are playing a critical role in the development and maturation of many biotechnologies. Bioconjugates produced using traditional techniques require exogenous assays for the characterization of the final bioconjugate which may result in the loss of valuable sample. My work has focused on a new bioconjugation reagent which utilizes a built in chromophore/fluorophore which eliminates the need for a secondary assay for determination the amount of functionality which has been added to a biomolecule.
